About Us

Kenilworth Cookbook Club™ is an inclusive organization designed to promote camaraderie and connection throughout communities. Our communities gather regularly to connect and share meals together with dishes created from our favorite cookbooks.

"So, what happens at Cookbook Club?"

We meet every month.

The host selects the cookbook and opens their home to the community.

Guests select recipes from the cookbook and prepare dishes for the event.

We gather to share our creations, feast together and create long-lasting relationships.

And yes - if you can't cook, don't want to, or just have zero time, join us anyway! Maybe bring wine? All are welcome at Cookbook Club.

Meet our Founder

Hi! I'm Allison.

So happy you are here! In 2018, when we moved our family to the suburbs, we found ourselves without a built in network of family or friends. I had to find a way to build my own community. I worked in food media in New York and always had a personal passion for food, chefs, and cookbooks. I knew that food would bring people together - no matter your age, stage, or socioeconomic class. Food is our common denominator after-all. So, it seemed only natural to pick a cookbook, invite a few, new friends over, and have a meal together. Cookbook Club was born.

We started gathering once a month, in different homes, with hosts picking different cookbooks and themes. It was designed to be casual, inclusive (everyone is invited), and welcoming. The Club had a purpose too - we learned new things, we became inspired and it was our moment to just have fun - and together.

It quickly took-off in our community and with our expansion across social media, our email newsletter, live experiences, and our national expansion program (start yours today!), we represent the largest network of Cookbook Clubs in the country.
